The second week of the second semester turned out to be very special for both 4th grades as they had an „English in Action“ week with Sadbh from Dublin and Tom vom Leicester. A couple of girls who wish to remain anonymous gave the course from 9 to 11 points out of 10 which is really amazing.
Sadbh and Tom gave their best to get the pupils involved and talking about culture and language so that everybody could gain self-confidence and experience. As one of the highlights the FINAL PRESENTATIONS on Friday has to mentioned when all the students performed quizzes, sketches, weather forecasts or other shows: speaking English and freely. English at its best and with an „exceptional level“ of English as the students (and their teachers) have been told by the natives.
Many thanks go to Sadbh and Tom for their endurance, motivation and spirit, thanks to the classes 4a and 4b for participating.
„English in Action“ has proven to be a course on a fixed agenda also for the years to come.
